As Thanksgiving approaches, and we look back over the year and count our blessing, you are one of them. This has been an exciting, but somewhat stressful year for us as we suddenly found Geof retiring 5 years before expected and us moving to Blackfoot (which hadn’t even seriously crossed our minds until mid-February). Not only were you patient as we worked through our fears in the house hunting process, but you helped ensure we got this house (yes, Mom & Dad told us that you paid for the abatement yourself. Thank you) Having that last offer accepted with no negotiation back to us was the sign we were looking for that this was God’s will for us, and we that you for allowing yourself to be his conduit.

We cannot describe how wonderful it has been to be able to spend so much time with family since we moved, and we can’t thank you enough for your part in that. While there’s still a lot of work to do on our new home to truly make it ours, we love our new home. Thank you so very much.

Jed helped me with the sale of my last 2 homes in the Blackfoot, Idaho area–one in 2007 and one in 2013. He also helped me buy a home in 2007. We first approached Jed Taylor a few days before Christmas–not a very auspicious time to look at houses, but we had just a few days in the area. Even though we were very indefinite as to when or if we would be able to move to the area, Jed immediately set aside considerable time to show us homes in Pocatello, Blackfoot, and Idaho Falls. He even postponed family travel so that he could show us some houses on the day before Christmas. For the next 9 or 10 months Jed kept us informed by email of houses coming on the market that were similar to those we had looked at, answering any questions we had as we looked at houses on the web. When we finally flew in to select a house and make an offer, Jed took the time to show us a number of houses that were on our list, advising us of positive and negative points about each house and assisting us in our final purchase negotiations, arranging for a professional inspection, helping us to obtain bids for some modifications we wanted to make, and guiding us through the closing process.

With Jed’s professional assistance we ended up with a house that was ideal for us at a price that we believe was fair to us and the seller. In all our dealings with Jed he cheerfully went the second and third miles in a friendly, professional way, and we have no reservations about recommending him to anyone needing the services of a realtor in southeastern Idaho.
